La Playa Media and Marketing is dedicated to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities in accordance with the European Accessibility Act (EAA Directive 2019/882) and the technical standard EN 301 549 / WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We are actively updating our digital presence to provide an inclusive experience for all users.

Images and Visual Media

  • Issue: Some older images, product graphics or banners lack descriptive alternative text (alt text).

  • Remediation: We are actively reviewing and adding alt tags to all visual assets across the site.

Keyboard Navigation & Focus States

  • Issue: Certain interactive elements (such as navigation drop-down menus, image sliders or pop-up windows) Cannot be easily operated using only a keyboard.

  • Remediation: Our development team is updating visual focus indicators and DOM tab sequences to enable full keyboard operability.

Forms & E-Commerce Checkout​​​

  • Issue: Some form fields and checkout screens lack clear aria-labels for screen readers.

  • Remediation: Florm strcutures and payment inputs are being updated to meet full EN 301 549 requirements.

Digital Documents

  • Issue: Certain downloadable files (e.g., PDF receipts, user guides, brochures) are not yet fully optimised for screen reader navigation.

  • Remediation: We are replacing legacy documents with accessible HTML or properly tagged PDFs.
